Mechanical engineering, IT, biotechnologies, medicine are the priorities of cooperation between Belarus and Kazakhstan. The activation of bilateral partnership is being discussed these days in Nur-Sultan. The Belarusian delegation headed by First Deputy Prime Minister Nikolai Snopkov will take part in the meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation. In addition, the program of the visit includes a number of meetings with the country's leadership. A business council and a number of bilateral negotiations with business circles of Kazakhstan are planned today. Contracts worth about $9 million are expected to be signed on the sidelines of the forum to supply Belarusian equipment, car kits, elevators, as well as salt and confectionery.
