Belarus is moving towards the goal of full self‑sufficiency in key construction materials. Major investment projects have been implemented. For example, the modernization of the vial production line has made it possible to abandon the use of foreign raw materials in the manufacture of medical glass. The production of domestic artificial gypsum has been launched: innovations help the sector keep pace with the times and ensure the dynamic development of the construction industry. In the domestic market, the focus is on the construction of rental housing. Plans are in place to commission 650.000 sq. m. of such space. In the foreign market, the main goal of the construction industry is to increase competitiveness. Belarusian organizations intend to significantly increase the volume of exports of installation, design, and engineering services.
