Belarus' gold and foreign currency reserves have increased

Foreign currency assets and monetary gold account for the largest share of Belarus's international reserve assets. Belarus's gold and foreign currency reserves have increased by $36.9 mln in July, reaching $14.193 bln as of 1 August 2026. According to monetary policy targets, Belarus's international reserve assets should reach at least $9.2 bln by the end of the year.
