The priority of cooperation between Belarus and the Ulyanovsk region of Russia is the aircraft industry. This was stated by the governor of the Russian region, Alexei Russkikh. ILs are assembled in the Volga region and today it is important to arrange the supply of the necessary parts. Belarus is ready to get involved in this process, especially since it has both experience and a production base in this area. In addition, a new page of cooperation is opening for machine builders – the production of semi-trailers for MAZs, an investment project for 600 million Russian rubles. The development of a new project – a microelectronic cluster – Is also being completed. It is planned to be commissioned by the end of 2024. Also, this region of Russia is interested in increasing the supply of Belarusian dairy and meat products to retail chains of the Volga region.
