Belarus harvests two million tons of grain

The total grain harvest already amounts to 1 million 944 thousand tons. Nearly 25% of the acreage has been cropped. Today this figure will be much higher. Brest region has harvested the largest portion of its total acreage, namely 45%; a little behind are the Gomel and Grodno regions. Given favorable weather conditions, mass-scale grain harvesting will end on August 20, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food announced.
