Aleksey Kushnarenko, Chairman of Minsk Regional Executive Committee, is visiting the Omsk Oblast these days. A meeting of the joint commission on investment, trade and economic cooperation was held. One of the key topics is the agro–industrial complex. For example, Belarus has an interest in Russian grain varieties and petrochemical production. The possibility of launching direct flights between the cities is also being considered. On 24 September, Omsk will host the opening of new areas of the multi-brand center, where leading Belarusian enterprises such as Minsk Tractor Works, Gomselmash and Amkodor will be represented. A presentation of the office of the representative of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Omsk is expected.
