Belarus and Novosibirsk region strengthen trade and economic ties

Belarus and the Novosibirsk region strengthen trade and economic ties. New projects were discussed in Minsk at the meeting of the Business Cooperation Council. The focus is on cooperation in industry. Successful examples include the Belkommunmash-Siberia joint venture. The region's producers are also interested in assembling of Belarusian agricultural equipment. In the near future Belarus tractors will be shipped to the region as a contract to this efffect was signed at the meeting. The Governor of the Novosibirsk region noted that the development of cooperation is facilitated by the fairs of Belarusian goods in the region. Last year, the trade turnover grew one and a half times and exceeded $260 million.
