All World Bank programs implemented in Belarus with high quality

President of Belarus thanked World Bank for the assistance in implementing of significant projects. A.Lukashenko noted this at a meeting with WB Senior Vice President for Operations Kyle Peters. The investment portfolio last years exceeded 1.6 billion dollars. Most of the money was funneled into renovation of the transport system, upgrading of the Belarusian thermal power plants. Projects in education and water supply are also on the list. The current visit of the WB representatives is connected with the development and adoption of the new country program for Belarus for the years to come.
