A new programme to support regional business projects in the meat and dairy industry has been launched in Belarus

Belarusian businesses have a new tool for development in the regions: the New Products loan programme under the Regional Initiative brand has been launched. The bet is on projects that will help expand the range of domestic products in 2 directions. In the meat industry, the production of feed, specialized and therapeutic nutrition will receive support. In the dairy industry — production of cheeses, condensed milk, and baby food according to international standards. The loan is available for up to Br150 mln at 6.5% per annum for the first 7 years, with a total repayment period of up to 15 years. The programme is expected to allow not only launching new production facilities, but also strengthen the position of Belarusian products in foreign markets.
