A large-scale modernization stage has been completed at the Volozhin flax mill

An innovative flax processing line has been put into operation. The high-performance units that were installed at the enterprise are of domestic assembly. The technology helps to process flax fiber as carefully as possible. This will allow the plant not only to dramatically improve the quality of raw materials, but also to enter almost waste-free production. The main products of the Volozhin combine are long flax fiber of the highest grades. This raw material is used for the production of fabrics, home textiles and clothing. Machine operators have started collecting Belarusian "northern silk". This year, a yield of 40 per hectare is expected.
