6 million tons of grain threshed

The sixth million tons of grain has been threshed in Belarus. According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, over 70% of the area has already been harvested, excluding corn, buckwheat, and millet. Work is progressing at the fastest pace in the Brest region, where it is almost completed. The smallest percentage of the area has been harvested so far in the Vitebsk region, but even there the midpoint has been crossed. Grain yield this year is higher than last year’s. Therefore, farmers are counting on a higher grain yield at the end of the harvesting campaign.
