5 mln square metres of rental housing is planned to be built in Belarus

Belarus will maintain its trend toward rental housing construction. Over the past five years the pace of construction of such apartments has tripled. Five mln square metres are expected to be built in the next five years. This stock will account for approximately a quarter of all housing construction. A significant part will be allocated to specialists in demanded professions. Each region will determine its own list of shortage positions. Candidates will be provided with rental housing on a priority basis.
