Mogilev region's industrial complex increasing production volumes

Thanks to preferences stipulated in the Presidential Decree "On the development of the south-eastern districts of Mogilev region" new production facilities have been set up in the region. The investment climate was also improved thanks to the "One district, one project" state program. The elevator building plant is working at full capacity with three shifts, putting out up to 13 thousand elevators a year. More and more of the latest technologies are being introduced. Among important achievements is localization of production over the years. The free economic zone is also making a sizable contribution to the overall growth. 18 business platforms are in operation in Mogilev region, including Osipovichi, Bobruisk, and Krichev. Half of Mogilev region’s exports come from these very companies.
