Meeting with Ambassador of Cuba Gerardo Suarez Alvarez

Belarus is interested in developing relations with Latin American and Caribbean states with the assistance of Cuba, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said as he met with Ambassador of Cuba Gerardo Suarez Alvarez whose diplomatic mission in Belarus is coming to an end. Over the past 4 years, the volume of mutual trade has increased dramatically. Cuba exports medicines, while Belarus delivers agricultural machinery to Cuba. The two sates maintain ties in education, healthcare, and military-technical cooperation.
