Braslav district of Vitebsk region signs cooperation agreement with Russia's Ulyanovsk

Ulyanovsk is a major industrial city. It is home to many machine-building enterprises engaged in aircraft and auto engineering. They plan to cooperate with Braslav not only in the industrial sphere, but also in tourism. Interest in the lake region in the northwest of Belarus is growing. In 2023, the trade turnover between Vitebsk and Ulyanovsk regions amounted to about $4 million. Thanks to the new cooperation agreement, this amount is planned to increase. Head of Ulyanovsk Alexander Boldakin expressed confidence that within the framework of cooperation between the Russian city and Braslav district joint projects in agriculture, industry and tourism will be carried out in the near future.
