Tourist interest to Belarusian sights remains at a high level

In Grodno region alone, more than 700.000 tourists visited museums in 2024, including those from Russia, Poland, Lithuania and far abroad. More than 300.000 people visited the Museum of History and Archaeology in Grodno, the Old Castle after reconstruction received almost 200.000 visitors, which is 5 times more than planned. The castles in Lida, Golshany and Novogrudok remain in demand. A total of 20 museums of the Ministry of Culture of Belarus operate in Grodno region. Last year they earned almost Br4.5 mln.
