Tour of the Bolshoi Theater of Belarus in Moscow

Tonight's poster is The Nutcracker. Ballet to the music of Tchaikovsky in the new author's edition of the artistic director, People's Artist Valentin Elizariev – premiere 2020. Since its first show in 1982, The Nutcracker has become one of the most popular touring titles, reaching some 20 countries. By the way, The Nutcracker ballet already received a standing ovation at the Bolshoi Theater of Russia in 1984. The restored performance has preserved the concept, costumes, scenery of the people's artist Yevgeny Lysik. The troupe brought the performance from Minsk exactly "to the screw". In total, 5 stage decoration trucks and 250 representatives of the Belarusian opera and ballet came to the performances in Moscow.
