The XXX international theatre festival "Belaya Vezha" has started in Brest

The programme of the current forum is based on productions by laureates from previous years. Participation of groups from 11 countries has been announced. The organizers have taken into account the preferences of audiences of different ages — a wide range of genres is represented. The schedule includes 15 drama theatre performances, 5 musical productions, and 5 musical‑plastic productions. A unique event will be the Wuju opera. The history of this genre spans more than 500 years. It combines various musical traditions, historical costumes, and elements of acrobatics and martial arts. Three one‑man shows and three performances for children's audiences have been announced. The audience will also see experimental performances and puppet theatre productions.
