Famous painting by Marc Chagall will be brought to Belarus for the first time

The painting "Over the City" will be exhibited in the Vitebsk Art Museum during the days of the Slavianski Bazaar. The painting will be brought to the festival capital from the Tretyakov Gallery. A separate room has been prepared for the exhibition of the painting in the Art Museum. The work of Yuri Pan, Chagall's teacher, will be displayed in front of her. Such a long-awaited and lengthy tour became possible following negotiations between the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Belarus and the All-Russian Museum Association "State Tretyakov Gallery". The first screening of the world-famous painting will take place on 16 July, the opening day of the Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk.
