Experts from Belarus, Russia and Uzbekistan discuss issues of preservation and promotion of cultural heritage of the CIS countries

The meeting is timed to coincide with the 35^th anniversary of the Commonwealth. The meeting is taking place on the eve of the International Day for Monuments and Historical Sites. The focus is on the restoration of architectural masterpieces and the inclusion of sites in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The meeting is taking place at the headquarters of the CIS Executive Committee and the Nesvizh Museum-Reserve. By the way, the legacy of the Radziwill dynasty is the only institution in Belarus that has the status of a basic organization of the CIS member states. In addition to the museum-reserve, the Mir Castle, the Struve Arc and Belovezhskaya Pushcha are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The Augustovsky Canal, St. Sophia Cathedral in Polotsk and Kolozhskaya Church in Grodno are in line for prestigious status.
