Celebrating 500th anniversary of "Song About Bison"

More than 50 works by Belarusian and foreign artists as well as translations of the poem were presented at the National Library of Belarus to mark the 500th anniversary of the first edition of Nikolai Gusovski's "Song About Bison". Painting, calligraphy, digital art and printing techniques were used to create Illustrations for the poem. The centerpiece of the exhibition is an edition of the book made by Belarusian graphic artist Yuri Gusovski entirely by hand. The book is supplemented with 13 etchings and mezzotint prints. The exposition also includes works from the collection of the National Library of Belarus. It is available through June 1.
