An exhibition of wooden sculptures has opened

Wooden mythology and fairy-tale characters are in one exhibition. The exhibition "From roots to modernity" has opened in the gallery "University of Culture". The wood carvers, members of the Belarusian Union of Folk Artists, presented their views on the same material. Each of the authors works in his own style at the intersection of experience and technology. Wood in Belarus is not just a material. For centuries, houses were built from it, dishes were made, and amulets were created. And today the tradition finds a new life. Belarusian craftsmen create the finest psychological portraits and sculptures, which are highly appreciated all over the world. You can visit the exhibition at the University of Culture Gallery until mid-August.
