"From Evil Witchcraft to a Happy Return". An exhibition dedicated to the phenomenon of Belarusian amulets has opened in Minsk. The objects of the XIX - early XX centuries are presented. The exhibition at the Yakub Kolas State Literary-Memorial Museum was created jointly with the State Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Lifestyle. The project is divided into eight thematic blocks that reflect the main stages of a Belarusian's life: from laying the foundation of a house to the birth of their first child. Amulets were considered powerful talismans that protected the home, well-being, happiness and health of the family.
