An exhibition of paintings by Alexander Isachev «At the Forgotten Altars» has opened in Minsk. The Belarusian artist did not have a professional education, but he was able to make a breakthrough in Belarusian art in the Soviet times. His works are in private collections of Jacques Chirac and Ronald Reagan. The artist passed away more than 30 years ago, but over this time more than a hundred of his exhibitions have been held all over the world. The largest state collection of Isachov's works is located in Rechitsa. It includes 6 paintings and 25 graphic works.
