150th anniversary of great landscape artist

Bialynitski-Birulia Museum, a branch of the National Art Museum of Belarus celebrates the 40th anniversary. The celebration coincided this year with the 150th anniversary of the great landscape painter. In his works the artist praised the beauty of his native land. Today there are more than 40 works in the permanent exposition, as well as furniture and personal belongings of the maestro. Works by Bialynitski-Birulia are popular abroad. But it is the National Art Museum of Belarus that keeps the bulk of his works.
