PROSPECTS WITH MYANMAR
Belarus is strengthening its presence in Southeast Asia. The President of Myanmar Min Aung Hlaing came on an official visit to Belarus. The official part of the talks took place at the Palace of Independence. Over the past couple of years, an active political dialogue has been established between the countries and their leaders. Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasized that Belarus expects to further strengthen relations.

DEFENSE STARTS AT HOME
Even in the era of drones and ballistic missiles, small arms are vital for any army. This was stated by Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko during a visit to a fully domestically produced small arms production facility in Minsk Oblast.

STRATEGIC CONTACTS

Belarus and Iran are working on a strategic partnership agreement. Plans to strengthen parliamentary and trade and economic relations were discussed during a meeting with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic to Belarus in the House of Representatives. These included the development of a roadmap for the extension of comprehensive cooperation between our countries.

GDP GROWTH 

Belarus's GDP grew by 2.1% in the first seven months of 2026. According to figures provided by the National Statistical Committee of Belarus, this positive trajectory has been maintained despite the external environment. Belarusian authorities previously set a goal of economic growth of at least 2.8% in 2026. Therefore, the country's key economic indicator is within the forecast range, confirming the stability of the national economic system.

Z GENERATION APPROACH 

Business processes and the Z generation approach to financial literacy. The Summer School for Young Analysts has started its work in Minsk. This is already the third season of the project. This year, the event is being held at an international level for the first time – in addition to Belarusians, participants from Russia and China have joined.
