POLITICAL DIALOGUE
Strengthening ties with Algeria. The President of Belarus met with the Speaker of the National People's Assembly of the African Republic. An Algerian parliament delegation made its first official visit to Belarus. The day before the meeting with the President, talks were held in the Parliament, declaring that relations between countries had reached a new systemic level.

MOVING FORWARD
Another international meeting on the President's agenda. Aleksandr Lukashenko met with the Moldovan politician and former President Igor Dodon. He currently serves as a leader of the Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova. Lukashenko and Dodon are longtime friends. The Moldovan politician has visited Minsk repeatedly both during his tenure as the country's leader and later as the party's leader.

EXAMPLE OF COOPERATION
Minsk and Kazan share a long history of cooperation. The Days of Kazan were held in Belarusian capital for the first time. The main business event was the economic business forum. Six cooperation agreements were signed, including ones between healthcare committees, schools and colleges, tourist centres and high-tech parks.

TECHNOLOGICAL DRIVERS
The 31st international specialized exhibition "Tibo 2026" brought together 70 leading IT market players from Belarus and Russia. Nearly two dozen specialized sections addressed issues of digitalization in industry, trade and agro-industrial complex, personal data and intellectual property protection, big data and the use of unmanned systems. A key topic was artificial intelligence as a driver of technological development.

ELECTORAL EXPERIENCE

A joint delegation from Kazakhstan and the OSCE Office (Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe) visited the Central Election Commission. They were interested in how conditions are created in Belarus for voting by citizens with limited mobility. The guests were given a tour and then negotiations were held. The Belarusian system of mobile commissions for home voting is one of the most well-established in the CIS.

HARMONY OF CULTURES

The first music forum "Harmony of Cultures. Belarus-China" was held at the National Art Museum. The programme featured more than ten performances by Chinese and Belarusian students. Traditional Chinese folk instruments such as the hulusi and erhu, as well as the Belarusian piano school, were played in unison.
