DIPLOMATIC MISSIONS’ WORK RESULTS

Aleksandr Lukashenko received a report from the Permanent Representative of Belarus to the United Nations. The Head of State was interested in the dynamics and prospects of relations between Belarus and the United States. Valentin Rybakov observed multiple sessions of Belarusian-American dialogues in Minsk both last and this year.

Diplomatic gains

Diplomacy in the face of modern challenges and a course for protecting national interests. The annual seminar for the heads of diplomatic missions and consular offices of Belarus was held in Minsk. The programme included business meetings with senior representatives of the Eurasian Economic Commission and the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

UNIFIED EFFORTS

Union agenda were discussed at a meeting between the President of Belarus and the Russian Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Central Federal District. During the conversation, Aleksandr Lukashenko proposed strengthening joint work between Belarusian National Biotechnology Corporation (BNBC) and similar enterprises in Russia.

AGRICULTURAL BRANDS

A multi-brand centre for Belarusian machinery has opened in Voronezh. The site features a comprehensive representation of all domestic brands, including Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ), Gomselmash, BobruiskAgromash, Amkodor, and Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ). The opening of the new centre will make work easier and faster for local Voronezh farmers.

HORIZONS OF INTERACTION

Belteleradiocompany and the Nicaraguan Communications Council signed a cooperation agreement. It provides for the exchange of information, audio, video, and documentary content. This collaboration will also facilitate the dissemination of unbiased regional and local news, firsthand. As part of this exchange, a delegation of Belarusian journalists will conduct work-shops for their Nicaraguan colleagues. Topics for discussion include the challenges of modern journalism, new requirements for media outlets, combating fake news, and the efficiency of information delivery.
