CONTACTS WITH LITHUANIA
The Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs commented on the statement by the head of the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry regarding the normalization of relations with Minsk. Kestutis Budrys noted that he dreams of having established contacts with the Belarusian side.
BRIDGES OF FRIENDSHIP
Minsk and Caracas are becoming closer. A delegation of parliamentarians from Venezuela visited Belarus. The focus was on strengthening interparliamentary ties, exchanging legislative experience, and joint projects in the cultural and humanitarian spheres.
FROM THEORY TO PRACTICE
Belarus participated in the "INNOPROM. Central Asia" exhibition in Tashkent and showcased industrial developments from renowned domestic brands. Important meetings were held at the exhibition. Relations between the two countries were discussed at the meeting with the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan. He noted that Belarus is a close and reliable friend of his country.
COMBINED POTENTIAL
Grodno Oblast and Türkiye intend to develop cooperation in economy, trade, and tourism. This was confirmed at the meeting between the Chairman of the and the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the Republic of Belarus. Currently, the two countries maintain a trade turnover of $1.7 bln, including $60 mln with Grodno Oblast. Tourism was the central topic of the meeting. Turkish tour operators will soon receive and study package programs for Belarus' hospitality opportunities.
CONFIRMATION OF INTEREST
A significant step towards strengthening partnership. The Academy of Public Administration under aegis of the President of the republic of Belarus and the Party School of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China have signed a Memorandum of Understanding. This document will deepen our cooperation in the training of leadership personnel. The signatures were put in Beijing. The Memorandum of Understanding opens up many opportunities, including joint scientific conferences, symposiums, and the exchange of information and publications.
