In Minsk, the winners of the Paralympic and Deaflympic Games were honored

The Ministry of Sports of Belarus honored the champions and medalists of the Paralympics, as well as the Deaflympics. Only four athletes went to Italy for the main event of the four-year cycle. Roman Sviridenko's gold and silver medals in skiing were added to the Belarusian team's achievements. Belarusian athletes and coaches who participated in the Deaflympics in Tokyo were awarded certificates of honor and gratitude from the Ministry of Sports. Belarusians won 12 medals in the Japanese capital.
