Belarusian national teams return to IIHF World Championships

The International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) has decided to allow Belarusian national teams to participate in the World Championships in the 2026/2027 season. The men's junior national team of Belarus will participate in the World Cup in the 2026/2027 season. The tournament will be held in the USA from 22 April to 2 May, 2027. In addition, the women's junior and women's national teams of the country are included in the programme of the World Championships. The Belarusian Ice Hockey Federation will continue to actively work on the early return of the national and youth men's national teams to participate in official international competitions under the auspices of the IIHF.
