Belarusians won gold medals at the European Taekwondo Championships

Two Belarusians won gold at the European Taekwondo Championships in Munich. Roman Turavinov won the gold medal in the 80 kg weight class. In the final, he defeated an athlete from Ukraine in two rounds. Georgy Gurtsiev also won a gold medal in the 58 kg weight class, defeating representatives from Portugal, Croatia, Türkiye, and Italy. The Belarusian athletes competed under national symbols. The national anthem was played twice.
