2nd European Games: following results of three competitive days, Belarusians got 34 awards

The third day of competition at the 2nd European Games brought the Belarusian team 20 awards. The day before, 6 medals in individual competitions were won by track-and-field athletes. Silver awards went to Kristina Timanovskaya (100 meter race), Vitaly Parakhonko (110 with barriers) and Anastasia Mironchik-Ivanova (long jump). Best results were shown by our hurdler Elvira Herman, Tatiana Kholodovich in javelin throwing and Maxim Nedosekov in high jumps. 8 medals in 9 categories were won on Sunday by Belarusian sambo wrestlers. Vera Gorelikova won gold. 2 bronze awards were won by sports acrobats. The national team of Belarus in rhythmic gymnastics won gold in the group all-around.
