"Yuryevsky khorovod" will be presented at an international competition

Belarus will take part in the international contest "The best tourist villages 2025". This is a project of the UN World Tourism Organisation. This year the country will be represented by the Pogost village with the "Yuryevsky khorovod" rite. Polessky rite, once spread throughout the entire Turovshchina, is now preserved only in the village of Zhitkovichi district. By the way, in 2019, the "Khorovod" is included in the UNESCO Lists of Intangible Cultural Heritage. The results of the competition will be known by the end of this year.
