A new art object will appear in Minsk on Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus

A musical bench in memory of Vladimir Mulyavin, People's Artist of the USSR and Belarus, founder and artistic director of the legendary vocal and instrumental ensemble Pesnyary, will be unveiled on the boulevard of the same name in Minsk. Sitting on the bench you'll hear three compositions. One of them, "A Street Without an End", features the symbolic line: "Streets, streets are called by our names". Two songs dedicated by Mulyavin to his women friends, "Red Rose" and "Bird's Cry", will also be played. The project was brought to life by staff and students of the Minsk State College of Crafts and Design, and funding was provided by a fan of Mulyavin's work.
