World-class technologies for microelectronics are created by scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus

The organisations of the Department of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics of the National Academy of Sciences have their own science-intensive production facilities. Exports of the Minsk Institute of Radio Materials almost doubled during the Year of Quality, totalling $1.3 mln. Among the latest developments is an oven for growing special components, which are used to create a new generation of transistors. Devices with increased conductivity are more resistant to temperatures. They are used in the production of radars, chargers, electric cars and other devices. Belarus is among the top five countries using such technologies.
