Work on the programme of socio-economic development until 2030 has started in Belarus
Belarus is demonstrating success in achieving high performance. In 2024, the country's GDP grew by 4%, which is above the world average. This was stated by the relevant Minister Yuri Chebotar at the extended meeting of the board of the Ministry of Economy. Today, among the tasks for the future is the preparation of a programme of socio-economic development until 2030. The document will be based on the National Strategy for Sustainable Development. The priority is to maintain a comfortable standard of living and well-being of the population. The board also talked about business development. The goal for this year is to prepare a legal act to simplify work with the business environment. It is also important to attract investment to the regions through the creation of new modern production facilities.
