Venezuela sent a congratulatory telegram

Leaders of foreign states begin to congratulate Aleksandr Lukashenko on his convincing victory. Venezuela congratulated the Belarusian leader and the people on the triumph of democracy. The statement notes that the high percentage of votes for the President reflects the confidence of the population in his leadership, while the mass participation in the elections is an example of the commitment of the Belarusian people to peace, stability and their sovereignty. Caracas reaffirmed its friendship and fraternity with Belarus and expressed readiness to strengthen bilateral cooperation for the benefit of the peoples.
