Union projects for the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory
Parliamentarians of the Union State discussed new projects in the field of culture. These are the tour of the Belarusian-Russian Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk, as well as the festival of the Union State "Creativity of the Young". In the year of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, special attention is paid to the projects aimed at preserving the historical memory of the Great Patriotic War. Among the most significant are the continuation of the reconstruction of the Brest Fortress, the creation of a memorial museum at the "Buinichskoe pole" in Mogilev and projects at the Kursk Bulge. At the end of the session, the Belarusian parliamentarians made an unexpected gift to People's Artist of Russia Nikolai Burlyaev — they handed over a book "Our President" with Aleksandr Lukashenko's personal autograph on behalf of the Head of State.
