Trucks with Polish license plates are unable to leave for their home country
19.09.2025
Belarus
has extended the stay of Polish heavy trucks which cannot leave their homeland
due to the closed border. After the border was closed, 1.500 trucks with Polish
license plates were stranded in Belarus. The cars remain on the territory of our country due to the
fault of the Polish side. For these trucks, the period of temporary importation
into the territory of the EAEU, established upon entry into the country,
expires. The Belarusian customs has the right to hold carriers accountable
within the framework of legislation. But the day before, the State Customs
Committee decided to extend the presence of Polish trucks in our country for
another 10 days.
