Today the first dress rehearsal of the Victory Day parade will be held in Minsk
The passage of the column of military equipment will begin today at 17:00. In this connection, the movement of motor transport (both personal and public) along the main avenues will be partially closed in the capital. On the outer ring of the MKAD traffic will be restricted at the exit to Independence Avenue in the direction of Pobediteley Avenue. The streets Rogachevskaya, Osnovateley, Starinovskaya and Timiryazeva, as well as Independence, Pobediteley and Masherov avenues will be closed. In total, more than 4.000 people from all military departments and structures of Belarus will take part in the parade. More than 220 units of military and about 30 units of aviation equipment will be presented. More than 200 veterans of the Great Patriotic War will take part in the parade on 9 May in Minsk. Another dress rehearsal will be held in the capital on 6 May.
