06.10.2025
In the context of globalization, digitalization and the development of markets, the topic of counterfeiting is of particular importance. This opinion was shared by Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus N. Petkevich with the participants of the forum "Anti-counterfeiting-2025". The business program includes a plenary session and thematic sessions. The forum is being held in Belarus for the second time. More than 500 participants from eight countries are engaged in a constructive dialogue. The speakers state that it is important to combine the efforts of the state, public and industrial sectors, and the scientific community must be involved. The numbers indicate the scale of the problem. Every year manufacturers worldwide lose millions of dollars due to counterfeit products. As for Belarus, more than 90% of fakes in recent years have been mainly imported from China, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany and other countries.
