The Supreme Court of Belarus begins consideration of the third criminal case on genocide

Today the Supreme Court of Belarus starts to consider another criminal case of genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War. The accused Semen Serafimovich is involved in the murder of 4144 people. During the occupation of the Belarusian territory by Nazi troops, being a citizen of the USSR, he went over to the enemy's side and headed a unit of the Mir district auxiliary police, and then a reinforced punitive detachment of the auxiliary police of the city of Baranovichi. The criminal case consists of 30 volumes. There are 54 witnesses.
