It is known from the case file that Osip Vinnitsky was an accomplice of the Nazis. In early August, the Prosecutor General sent a criminal case to the Supreme Court accusing O. Vinnitsky of genocide. According to the Prosecutor's Office, he was a member of the organization of Ukrainian nationalists, as well as a member of the Bukovinsky Kuren formation. In the autumn of 1942, he joined the 118th battalion of the security police. O. Vinnitsky's case has been separated into a special investigation from the criminal case on the genocide of the Belarusian people.
