10.07.2025
Consumer protection and user data security. Changes have been made to the rules of online commerce. This is an area that is gaining momentum every year. Over the past 5 years, the number of digital stores has increased by more than 2.5 times. And retail trade on the Internet at this level requires adjustments and additions to legislation. Thus, starting from 11 July, online stores will be required to respond to electronic inquiries from customers. Sellers from outside Belarus are often present on Internet platforms, which complicates the resolution of consumer disputes and restoration of violated rights. In this regard, in the future, it is planned to impose the same obligations on the online platform as on the seller.
