The remains of an Uzbek soldier were found in the Gomel Oblast
A ceremony of handing over the remains of Abdullazhan Dadabaev to official representatives of Uzbekistan took place in Buda-Koshalyova District. A native of the Fergana region, he fought in the territory of Belarus during the Great Patriotic War as part of the Red Army. The place of his death was discovered by members of the Alye Pogony (Scarlet Shoulder Straps) search club in June 2025. His remains were handed over to representatives of the Uzbek delegation for subsequent transportation to his homeland. For many years, searches have been conducted in Belarus for unknown soldiers' graves, thanks to which relatives and friends have the opportunity to find out where and how their relatives died. Great merit in this noble endeavour belongs to the search teams and public associations that continue to search for soldiers.
