The queue of passenger cars on the Belarusian-Lithuanian route has increased tenfold in just one day
18.09.2025
The situation at the border remains tense. Despite the completion of the Zapad-2025 exercise, Poland has not opened the border. Polish carriers who failed to leave Belarus in time are now trapped. Only three of the 14 border crossings with the European Union remain operational. Over the past 24 hours, the queue of passenger cars on the Belarusian-Lithuanian route has increased tenfold, from 30 to 300 vehicles. The queue of trucks has also increased, from 850 to nearly 1.000 trucks. 1.500 trucks with Polish license plates remain stranded in Belarus due to the Polish side's fault.
