The procedure for importing cars in Belarus is changing

The innovations will affect the so-called simplified procedure. The Belarusian market often receives cars that do not meet the requirements. This can lead to problems in maintenance, repair and even normal driving. To avoid problems, it is proposed to limit the volume of imports under the simplified scheme. In addition, all dealers will have to undergo a vehicle type approval procedure. So far, the changes apply only to legal entities. But in the future, similar measures may be applied to individuals in the interests of safety and transparency of the automobile market.
