The preservation of moral values was discussed in Zhirovichi

The famous Belarussian religious complex was visited by the participants of the seminar "The State and the Church. Guarding the traditions and moral values of the Belarusian society". Representatives of relevant ministries and agencies, clergymen headed by Metropolitan Veniamin of Minsk and Zaslavl, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus, were invited to a great dialogue on important spiritual aspects of cooperation between the state and the church. The meeting began in the church, where the participants could worship the Zhirovichi Icon of the Mother of God. During the tour of the churches of the Zhirovichi monastery complex they appreciated the reconstruction and restoration works. The culmination of today's retreat in Zhirovichi was a discussion of topical issues of interaction between the state and the church.
