The official visit of the Belarusian parliamentary delegation to Azerbaijan has ended
The Belarusian delegation led by Chairperson of the Council of the Republic Natalya Kochanova has completed an official visit to Baku. In the capital of Azerbaijan, the parliamentarians took part in the events of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly and had a number of bilateral meetings, including with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister Ali Asadov. The sides expressed mutual satisfaction with the high level of interstate ties and emphasised the dynamic development of partnership in various spheres. During the visit, the National Assembly of Belarus was granted observer status in the Asian Parliamentary Assembly, which actually completes the process of the country's involvement in all major regional interparliamentary structures.
